FCS K3 PERFORMANCE CORE

The FCS K-3 was designed in conjunction with Kelly Slater and until now has been available in Glass Flex and Performance Glass. The new FCS K-3 in Performance Core (PC) further enhances this popular template.Construction

• The FCS K-3 has proven to be a winning template and an essential tool in Kelly's global domination of professional surfing. Kelly has won numerous events riding the FCS K-3 at places like J-Bay and Bell Beach.
• PC construction produces a more rigid fin with a stiffer tip flex. This adds faster response by creating an immediate transfer of energy from the surfer through to the fin.
• The use of Uni-directional Carbon Fiber adds performance to the fin. When the inside face of the fin is loaded up it will giveback more of that energy when released.
• Substantial area in the base and the longer leading edge provides an incredible amount of drive, acceleration and hold, making it an ideal fin for open face surfing.
• The tapered tip allows for smooth transitions between turns and also offers the ability to release quickly with speed and control.

The FCS K-3 PC raises the bar on fin aesthetics. The side fins feature black Uni-directional Carbon Fibre highlighted with silver fibreglass weave. The Uni-directional carbon fibre cover the inside face, as well as the base and tip of the outside face of the fin. The appeal of the FCS K-3 PC is completed with Kelly's signature concentric circles, which reveal glimpses of the inner lantor core matt.
